IUTAM General Assembly
Members and Observers
The highest authority of the Union is its
General Assembly.
Each adhering organization has representatives with voting rights in the
General Assembly of the Union, and pays an annual subscription to the Union.
The number of representatives of an adhering organization and the amount of the annual subscription to be paid by that organization is regulated according to one of five categories, as described in Article XIV of the IUTAM Statutes.
According to Article VI of the Statutes, additional members of the General Assembly (with voting rights) are the members of the Bureau and the Members-at-Large. Finally, each affiliated organization has a representative in the General Assembly
of IUTAM.
